Project background and objective

A major renovation was carried out at Hankkija’s headquarters in Hyvinkää, involving the refurbishment of approximately 1,400 square meters of office space across two floors. The project modernized the entire second-floor office space, as well as the first-floor lobby area and a large conference room.

Project implementation

A new, spacious communal kitchen and lounge area was built on the upper floor—a place that brings people together and fosters collaborative work. The spaces were designed as multifunctional areas to meet the needs of modern work. The complex includes separate rooms for work requiring concentration, as well as versatile group work and meeting spaces for various purposes. A quiet relaxation room offers an opportunity to recharge during the workday.

The project manager was always easy to reach, and the weekly photo reports from the construction site provided a clear picture of the work’s progress. The reporting created transparency and ensured that our entire organization stayed up to date on the project’s progress. The site management handled the project convincingly, and the work was completed on schedule. The small and tight-knit project team proved to be an efficient and reliable solution.

Budget management went as planned. Additional costs remained moderate, and their share of the total costs was clearly below the industry average.
